Meet the Dean
Professor. Dr. Ahmad M. Makhlouf
Professor Makhlouf is the current Dean of the School of Medicine at BUC.
He was the former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University, Egypt.
He held many prestigious positions including Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of Medical Education Development Center, Assiut University.
He is the current Head of the Scientific Council of the Egyptian Fellowship of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a current Board Member in the Planning Committee, Medical Sector, Supreme Council of Universities, Egypt.
He is the current Councilor of the Medical Education Development Centre, Assiut University, and an Expert and Reviewer at the National Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation, a current Member of the National License Examination Higher Committee, current Member of the National Committee for Reform of Medical Education, and current Supervisor of the undergraduate medical programs in Upper Egypt Universities.

Meet the Vice Dean
Prof. Dr. Ghada Eldorry
Ghada Eldorry is a professor of pediatric neurodisability and the Vice-dean of the School of Medicine, BUC.
Professor Ghada earned her MD in pediatrics from Ain Shams University. She has a Master of pediatric neurology from Tor Vergata, Rome, Italy, and a Diploma in pediatric neurodisability from Sheffield, UK.
Dr. Ghada is the Founder of the center for children with special needs, Ain Shams University, and former dean of the faculty of postgraduate childhood studies at Ain Shams University.

School premises:
- The Faculty of Medicine comprises 5 floors with central air-conditioners.
This building includes:
- Many Lecture Halls (Seminar Rooms – Classrooms – Group Discussion Rooms), laboratories, Simulation Skills Development Center and staff rooms are sufficient for the number of students shown from the calculation of student capacity. Each classroom has comfortable seats, a whiteboard, a data show device, a display screen, a microphone, Wi-Fi, and central air conditioning.

Graduates from school of Medicine Badr university will be eligible to enter the Egyptian national license examination and carry out the two years of National compulsory medical internship (as required from graduates of all medical schools).
Graduation from school of medicine Badr university in Cairo gives opportunities for many fields in the job market of Health care professions with raising demands for new specialties that has been included in our program. The program is based to provide the medical students with competencies based on the NARS guidelines supported by up to date technologies required for teaching
The graduates will be able to choose their career according to their passion and what suits their personalities from dealing with the most critical situations in critical care, surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, medicine, pediatrics to other clinical disciplines including clinical pathology, dermatology, radiology or dealing with chronic situation as in medicine, oncology and family medicine. You will be provided with the basic knowledge that enables you to choose what is most suitable for your passion and career.
We also provide in the curriculum all competencies of professionalism and ethics that enable you to handle responsibilities as a doctor, ethics when dealing with your patient which are essential for doctor patient relationship and ability to deal in a teamwork

Curricular Concentration: Scientific Path
The applicant must have studied 5 scientific subjects including Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Math.
Applicants must have studied Biology and Physics in grade 11 or 12.
GPA (40%): 8 subjects O level studied during grades 10,11, and 12 including the 5 main subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Math, and English + 1 subject equivalent to 1 credit hour.
Minimum Grade (per subject): C
SAT (60%):
SAT 1: A minimum grade of 1090
SAT 2 (Optional): A minimum grade of 900

Applicant score should add up to a minimum of 95% after conversion for all certificates.
