The Schroth Best Practice Program
The official Schroth Best Practice® course program (SBP) is designed for Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors, and other medical Physicians to allow the acquisition of the skills necessary to guide their scoliosis patients professionally, diagnose curve patterns, and apply pattern specific exercises for the treatment of scoliosis.
The Schroth Best Practice Program is the latest development of the original program made by Katharina Schroth’s grandson.
The Best Practice Academy is now arranging training courses worldwide and inviting specialists from all over the world to participate in the latest developments in the field of physical therapy for patient safety and benefit.
Recent developments in the field of spinal deformity rehabilitation have been presented in various medical journals and books with achieving high-level evidence.
What is the Schroth Method?
It is an effective, evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents, and adults with scoliosis and/or kyphosis of all ages.
Since the Schroth Method was created nearly 100 years ago, life has changed. While most patients are busy, they need the least complicated, most efficient path – with the best results.
This inspired Dr. Hans Rudolf Weiss to develop, simplify, update, and improve certain aspects of the ancient Schroth method.
