What an incredible World Heart Day we had at Badr University in Cairo! Under the patronage of Dr. Hassan El-Kalla, University Chairman, Dr. Ashraf El-Shihy, University President, Dr. Ahmed Makhlof, Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Dr. Alaa El-Ghamrawy Consultant of Cardiovascular Diseases and Blood Vessels, and Founder of the National Program for Heart Rheumatism. We held a marathon that brought together students and staff racing for heart health.
We also hosted a Medical Caravan offering free echo screenings for local school students at the Faculty of Medicine Badr University in Cairo, helping to catch rheumatic heart disease early.
The day wrapped up with an insightful awareness seminar, featuring renowned experts discussing heart disease prevention. Together, we raised awareness and promoted heart health in our community.
