BUC Joins Ebdaa Festival

 Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Fawzi Turki, President of Badr University, and Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Kalla, the Vice President, Badr University in Cairo has participated in the tenth season of Ebdaa festival, which has been organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Nadine Amer, a student at School of Filmmaking and Performance Arts, is the talent that has represented BUC in the competition as a solo singer. Ebdaa festival, which has taken place in the Youth City’s Theatre in Abou Qear- Alexandria, has witnessed the talents of various Egyptian Universities and Academies. A delegation from the University, including Mr. Naji Abdulaziz and Mr. Ali Husseini, accompanied by Nadine, has represented BUC in this event.

Nadine’s heavenly performance of the song “Ya Tuyuur” has received plenty of compliments from the judges. The great musician Hani Mehanna, Prof. Dr. Ezz Al-Din Taha, conductor of the Ministry of Youth affairs and Sports’ Orchestra, and the remarkable artist Marwa Naji, have given words of praise and appreciation to Badr University for nurturing such precious talent. They have also applauded Nadine for her mellifluous voice, one that fits a rising superstar.
