Dr. Fawzi Torkey, President of Badr University in Cairo, announced that the School of Engineering, in cooperation with Huawei International Company, organized a conference to announce the launch of the “Huawei ICT Competition” in its fourth edition. This cooperation is carried out under the auspices of Dr. Hassan Al-Kalla, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.
In the same context, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Kalla, Vice-Chancellor of the University for Education and Students Affairs, added that the cooperation between Huawei and Badr University in Cairo aims at providing professional training for students. The holding of such meetings is a great opportunity for students and graduates; to learn the latest methods of “Network Engineering Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and Information Technology.”
In the same Vain, Prof. Dr. Amr Elatreby, Vice-President of the University for International Cooperation, Environmental Affairs, and Community Service, added that the training of our students through the world’s leading companies in these fields such as Huawei is a powerful addition to the development of practical skills of students and graduates. In accordance with the requirements of the technical and sophisticated labor market, graduates are eligible to join World-leading companies in the field of science “communication engineering, artificial intelligence, cloud, cloud computing, and networking” with rewarding salaries. He added that such cooperation aims to introduce practical courses for students to acquire the necessary skills as well as the major competitions held by Huawei Company, at the international level.
