A Dialogue on Design Philosophy and Contemporary Challenges

A dialogue on design philosophy and contemporary challenges between Dr. Eman El-Banna, Professor of Environmental Design at Badr University in Cairo, and Professor Adam Nocek, Professor of Design Philosophy at the University of Arizona. Addressing contemporary design challenges, which necessitate linking philosophy and the environment with design, and not limiting design in its cosmetic or functional role or producing a product, but rather going beyond that and integrating community service and environmental awareness, while considering environmental and climatic changes.

The seminar took place at Esorus Center for Contemporary Design in Maadi, in the presence of Badr University and Helwan University Applied Arts students, and many environment and design enthusiasts in Egypt and the world.
