TO EFFECTIVELY APPLY FOR BUC UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM,
FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW
Requirements
Original Thanaweya Amma certificate or a grades statement from the General Administration of Examinations.
Original Arab equivalent certificate authenticated by official authorities, including the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Egyptian Consulate in the issuing country.
Recent birth certificate, which must include the military triple number for male students.
Six 4×6 personal photos with a white background.
Copies of the passport for the student and the parents (father and mother).
Form 2 Jund, plus Form 6 or 7 Jund for male students.
For Al-Azhar Thanaweya, the original certificate is required; second-session applicants must attach the second-session excuse on the certificate.
Saudi Certificate applicants must provide the cardboard certificate, Qudurat certificate, and the Qudurat Username and Password.
Emirati Certificate applicants must provide Grade 11 and Grade 12 certificates.
Emirati General Track students are not eligible to apply to Medical and Engineering faculties; only the Advanced Track is eligible.
Libyan, Sudanese, Djiboutian, and Jordanian certificates require a movement certificate (travel log) for both the student and their guardian.
American Diploma (Inside Egypt)
Original School GPA Certificate for Grades 10, 11, and 12 authenticated by the School, the Educational Administration, and the Ministry of Education’s Private Education Department.
Letter from the school confirming the student studied three years (Grades 10, 11, and 12) in the American system, authenticated by the Educational Administration.
Private Education Statement.
ACT or SAT certificate authenticated by Egyptian official and foreign authorities, along with the account Username and Password.
Alternatively, an EST certificate authenticated by the General Administration of Examinations.
Egyptian Governmental Preparatory Certificate or a complete certified study sequence from Grade 1 to Grade 12 authenticated by the Educational Administration in Egypt.
Arabic and Religion examination authenticated by the Educational Administration.
Recent birth certificate, which must include the military triple number for male students.
Copies of the student’s ID or passport, as well as the parents’ (father and mother) IDs or passports.
Six 4×6 personal photos with a white background and the National ID number written on them.
Form 2 Jund, plus Form 6 or 7 Jund for male students.
American Diploma (Outside Egypt)
Original School GPA Certificate for Grades 10, 11, and 12 authenticated by the Egyptian Consulate in the issuing country and the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Letter from Amideast in Dokki accrediting the school within the American Schools Association, authenticated by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
ACT or SAT certificate authenticated by official and Egyptian foreign authorities, along with the account Username and Password.
Recent birth certificate, which must include the military triple number for male students.
Copies of the passport for the student and the parents (father and mother).
Six 4×6 personal photos with a white background and the National ID number written on them.
Form 2 Jund, plus Form 6 or 7 Jund for male students.
Certified complete study sequence for the primary, preparatory, and secondary educational stages.
IGCSE certificates showing the student studied 8 Ordinary Level (O-Level) subjects with a minimum grade of C.
All certificates must be authenticated by the British Council, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Educational Administration (for certificates issued inside Egypt).
Certified complete study sequence for the primary, preparatory, and secondary educational stages.
Recent birth certificate, which must include the military triple number for male students.
Copies of the passport for the student and the parents (father and mother, if applicable).
Six 4×6 personal photos with a white background.
Form 2 Jund, plus Form 6 or 7 Jund for male students.
Copies of the ID for the student and the parents (father and mother).
Applicants to the Faculty of Engineering must have studied AS Math with a minimum grade of D.
Transfers from Universities Outside Egypt
Requirements for Scientific Equalization (Makassa)
The student’s grades must match the Ministry’s announced minimum admission score for the year the qualification was obtained.
Original and copy of the grades and estimates statement, along with certified scientific content.
Documents must be authenticated by the issuing university, the Egyptian Embassy in that country, and the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Authentication Offices.
Copy of the High School certificate or its equivalent.
Payment of 2000 EGP for the Equalization fee and 1500 EGP for the Admission Application.
Registration Requirements (After Equalization Approval)
Original High School certificate or its equivalent.
Original birth certificate.
Copies of the ID cards for the student, father, and mother.
Copy of the passport clearly showing entry and exit visas for the country of study.
Conscription documents for male students (Form 2 Jund and Form 6 or 7 Jund).
Transfers from Universities Inside Egypt
Requirements for Scientific Equalization (Makassa)
The student’s grades must match the Ministry’s announced minimum admission score for the year the qualification was obtained.
Original and copy of the grades and estimates statement, along with scientific content authenticated solely by the university’s stamp.
Copy of the High School certificate or its equivalent.
Certificate of good conduct from the transferring university.
Payment of the Equalization fee.
Registration Requirements (After Equalization Approval)
Original High School certificate or its equivalent.
Original birth certificate containing the military triple number.
Original and copy of the withdrawal letter from the previous university.
Copies of the ID cards for the student and the father.
Conscription documents for male students (Form 2 Jund and Form 6 or 7 Jund).
Payment of 2000 EGP for the Equalization fee and 1500 EGP for the Admission Application.
Proof of completing Military Education (for males) or National Education (for females) if it was obtained at the transferring university.
Path Change Requirements
Proof of enrollment from the previous university.
Dismissal certificate, provided the dismissal is strictly academic due to repeated failure, or a resignation from military colleges.
Original High School certificate or its equivalent.
Birth certificate.
Status statement clarifying the conscription postponement position.
The university strictly does not accept students dismissed for disciplinary reasons.
Important Notes
The scientific equalization (Makassa) conducted by the university is considered preliminary until it is officially approved by the Ministry of Higher Education.
- Maximum Gap Years for Scientific Schools are five years.
Authentication means validation and confirmation.
All certificates should be validated first by the issuing institute, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the relative country, and the Egyptian Embassy in that country. Otherwise, certificates should be validated by the Embassy of the country from which the applicant acquired the certificate in Egypt, then from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Certificates from foreign countries should be validated and authenticated by the Cultural Consulate of the relative country.
Non-authenticated certificates or those that are not validated by the Egyptian Embassies abroad or the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be disregarded.

- Top 5 Students of the IG and the American Diploma. (90%)
- Students who attain first place in an Arab, African, or International Championship for the year of admission or the following year. (25%)
- Students who attain the second place in an Arab, African, or International Championship for the year of admission or the following year. (15%)
- Students who attain the third place in an Arab, African, or International Championship for the year of admission or the following year. (10%)
- Students who ranked first in the country for the year of admission or the following year. (5%)
- The student ranking first at the university, with the highest GPA. (60%)
- The student ranking first in the academic year in each school. (50%)
- The student ranking first on the program. (Multiple programs) (40%)
- The student ranking second on the program or class in schools providing only one program. (25%)
Graduates of the Future Schools, throughout their studying. (20%)
BUC Employees’ Children (Only during their employment period). (20%)
- Students offered a discount should acquire a minimum CGPA C.
- It is not allowed to combine two applicable discounts. The higher discount will be applied.
- Students offered the top-ranking discount should acquire a minimum CGPA of 3.4.
- The programs’ top-ranking discount will only be applied to programs with more than 15 students.
- Children of an Academic Staff member, noting that one of the parents is currently employed in an Egyptian University. (15%)
- Children of Artists (one of the parents), given that he/she is a member of the corresponding art syndicate in the faculties of cinematic and applied arts. The discount is given throughout their studies. (25%)
Students with a deceased parent, providing that the death took place during the student’s enrollment at BUC. The discount continues throughout their studying, and that after studying each case. (Max. of 30%)
Students with a sibling enrolled in BUC. The discount is given to the new sibling/s, as well as the sibling/s registered at the university throughout their studies. (5%)
A discount is granted to the sons of martyrs from the police and the army starting the second academic year and continues all through their studies.

A discount is granted to the Army and Policemen Martyrs starting the second academic year and continues all through their studying. (10%)
