The School of Medicine at Badr University in Cairo (BUC) was founded with a clear and enduring mission: to graduate competent, compassionate physicians and to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of healthcare in Egypt and beyond. Today, as we reflect on our journey, we do so with pride in what has been achieved and confidence in what lies ahead.

Since the inception of our program, the School has grown steadily in both scope and impact. We are proud to have graduated two cohorts of physicians who are already in their medical internship beginning to make their mark in diverse healthcare settings. Their accomplishments stand as a testament to the strength of our educational model and the dedication of our faculty and staff.

Over the past years, the School of Medicine has established itself as a distinguished institution among medical schools in Egypt. We have witnessed a continuous increase in the number of students joining us, not only from across the nation but also from the international community—an affirmation of the trust placed in our vision and the quality of our programs.

Our commitment to excellence in medical education remains unwavering. We continue to embrace innovative, student-centered approaches that align with global advancements in curriculum design, learning sciences, and technology-enhanced education. Our integrated curriculum ensures a seamless connection between foundational sciences and clinical practice, preparing our graduates to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

A significant milestone in our journey is the imminent launch of the University Hospital (Capital Med). This development will mark a new era for the School, providing an advanced clinical environment that enhances training, fosters research, and serves the community. It will further strengthen our ability to produce physicians who are not only clinically competent but also deeply attuned to the needs of society.

As we look to the future, we remain committed to shaping a new generation of physicians—professionals who are equipped with knowledge, guided by ethics, and driven by a commitment to improve human health. We invite you to be part of this dynamic and inspiring journey.
