The meeting was represented, from the Egyptian side, by Prof. Dr. Amr El-Atrebi, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hussein Mahmoud, Dean of Faculty of Languages and Translation, Prof. Dr. Nihad Mansour, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research of the Faculty of Linguistics and Translation, Prof. Dr. Fatma Taher, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Linguistics and Translation, and Prof. Dr. Salwa Mahmoud, Head of the Spanish Language Department at the Faculty of Languages and Translation at Badr University in Cairo.

From the Spanish side, Prof. Dr. Francisco Oliva Velazquez, rector of the Spanish Pablo de Olavide University, accompanied by Prof. Dr. David Naranjo Khel, Vice President for International Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Saad Mohamed Saad Hilal, Head of the Arabic Language Department at Pablo de Olavide University, and Mr. Dr. / Mohamed Abdel Qader, visiting docent at Pablo de Olavide University and faculty member at Zagazig University.

During the meeting, the activities of both universities were reviewed by videos about the faculties of Pablo de Olavide University, as well as making a tour around the campus of Badr University in Cairo and visiting the Faculty of Languages ​​and Translation and standing on the peculiarities and the points of strength in both universities.

A memorandum of understanding was also signed between all the related parties, which includes the exchange of faculty members and students, the exchange of experiences in the fields of scientific research, training and joint supervision, the establishment of joint scientific degrees and the exchange of experiences and other means of scientific and academic cooperation between both universities.
