Badr University Participates in Arab League Symposium on “The Impact of Diversity on Arab Identity”

April 26, 2026

In line with Badr University’s vision, which emphasizes that its role extends beyond education to include the production of applicable knowledge and the formulation of policies that contribute to the development of Egyptian and Arab societies, the Center for Global Affairs at Badr University participated in a symposium organized by the Department of Research and Strategic Studies at the League of Arab States, titled “The Impact of Diversity on Arab Identity.”

The Center’s participation stems from its active membership in the Arab Think Tank Network. Over the course of two days, its researchers engaged in in-depth discussions on the key challenges facing Arab identity and explored ways to transform diversity into a driving force for Arab integration. These discussions took place within scholarly sessions that brought together a distinguished group of Arab researchers and experts.

During the symposium, participating think tanks presented practical insights and actionable policy papers, highlighting their role in bridging academic research and decision-making. The outcomes and recommendations are set to be submitted to the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.

This participation reaffirms Badr University’s commitment to leveraging scientific research to serve society, strengthening its position as an influential knowledge institution at both the national and regional levels, and reinforcing the Center for Global Affairs’ role as a vital link between academic knowledge and public policy.
