Cooperation Protocol Between BUC and The General Authority for Health Accreditation and Control

The General Authority for Health Accreditation and Control and Badr University in Cairo signed a cooperation protocol aimed at developing a framework for joint cooperation between the authority and the university to grant a “professional diploma” to prepare and graduate qualified and trained human cadres to apply quality and safety procedures in medical services in accordance with the Egyptian accreditation standards.

The General Authority is internationally accredited by The International Society for Quality in Health Care “ISQua”, which includes nearly (1,200) requirements covering all health services’ details according to the type of medical facility.

Dr. Ashraf Ismail, Chairman of the General Authority for Accreditation and Health Control, stressed that providing the medical sector with qualified human cadres to implement quality from technicians and experts in various fields of medical service has become an urgent necessity so that the dream of applying international quality standards on the ground is achieved in particular; stressing that the health sector in Egypt is witnessing during the current period an unprecedented boom, interest,

and support from the political leadership, which puts health at the top of its priorities and working towards international quality standards which is the cornerstone of providing safe and distinguished health services to the Egyptian citizen.
