Badr University in Cairo recently held a press conference for the signing agreement between Prof. Dr. Mostafa Kamal, President of the University, and Dr. Riad Armanious, CEO of Eva Pharma on September 21, 2021, to deepen research cooperation between the university and the industry as well as enrich the Egyptian pharmaceutical industries through joint research and student training with the School of Biotechnology at the university.

The conference was attended by the Dean of Biotechnology School, Prof. Maisa Emara, and Vice Dean of the School, Prof. Mahmoud Fahmy, in the presence of Prof. Amr El-Atreby – Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and International Relations, Prof. Gamal Esmat – Former Vice President of Cairo University and Advisor to the Board of Trustees for Scientific Research, Prof. Yasser Mostafa, Dean of the School of Pharmacy, and Prof. Samira Ezzat – Head of Clinical Research Unit, Eva Pharma, and Dr. Laila Gad Al-Rub – Director of the Mounir Armanious Center for Pharmaceutical Research.

This agreement comes through the constant encouragement of the university administration and the Board of Trustees headed by Prof. Dr. Hassan El-Kalla for establishing ongoing collaborations between the university and the industrial sector.
